I mentioned in one of our recent blog posts that since moving into our own house, we don’t have much of a set up in place for growing vegetables. However, we’re still keen to grow a few bits and pieces in 2021.
Although we haven’t quite worked out what and where we’re going to grow things this year yet, we had an exciting development last weekend. A family friend was getting rid of a 6′ x 8′ greenhouse, and they asked us if we could make use of it!
So what did that mean? Yes, you guessed it! Last Sunday afternoon was spent de-glazing the greenhouse so we could move it to our house. And here it is!
It’s in pretty good condition, just needs a bit of cleaning up, which is our next job. And then we hope to move it into the back garden and get it set up to grow some veg later in the year!

Thank you. We were super excited too!! We’ve got a bit of work to do to get it up and ready to go yet, but we should be able to get quite a few going. We’re also hoping to grow some veg in there, like cucumbers!
