A short update on some of the other veg we have growing

We’ve got lots of things coming along in the greenhouse now, both vegetables and some bedding plants. We are growing them on in here to give them a bit of protection whilst the weather is still a bit unpredictable.

The courgettes we’re growing in containers were placed outside during the day for the past couple of weeks, being lifted back into the greenhouse overnight. However, as the weather has started to get a bit warmer in the last week, they have stayed outside the whole time to finish hardening them off.

In addition, we’ve got some good progress with our container vegetables. Here, we have the Little Gem lettuces and Falco turnips.

Our chard are also coming along alright in their cell trays. The germination wasn’t the best, but we think we’ve still got enough plants to keep us happy. These will carry on in these cells for a little while longer before they’re potted on/planted out.
