We were right that the pak choi were nearly ready to harvest. And luckily we did, as they’ve started to go to seed now with all the hot weather. They were still fine to eat though, flower heads included!

Below is a photo of our first harvest with we had with some salmon and veg last week.

We also had another harvest this week which we ate with a lovely beef in black bean sauce. We were also lucky enough to have a couple of homegrown courgettes to go with these and also the sugar snap peas that we’ve been growing in Dad’s garden.

This was the first harvest of sugar snap peas, but there are still plenty to come! And as you can see, the plants have really taken off since we last gave you an update. In fact, we’ve decided that we might need to grow them up taller supports in the future!
