Crazy cucumbers

The outdoor cucumbers are still absolutely loving life up against the fence. To be fair, they have got one of the best spots in the garden: protected from the wind, and in the sun for the longest part of the day as any part of the garden!

This is a couple of Diva cucumbers that are happily growing away. We are continuing to tie the plants up their wooden battens every 4-6 inches to support the plants (and cucumbers!)

And this is the cucumber harvest the other weekend. This is a mixture of Diva, Marketmore and Tasty King from the plants we have growing outside. I lined them up in height order. It reminded me of school photos – I was always the shortest one, like the Diva right at the bottom of this photo!
